Nominating Leadership for 2025

The Nominating Committee and Stewardship Team would like your input by October 8 on persons you prayerfully discern as senior leaders for the TCBC body.

We will be nominating people for the Leadership Council, Shepherding Team, and Stewardship Team.* Please see the TCBC Constitution (Section 8) and Bylaws (Section 7) for the details of this process.

If you know a spiritually mature person who is growing in their walk with the Lord and supports the TCBC mission, vision, and doctrines, but don’t know where they would best fit, the following may help:

 

• If they are attracted to big picture items, vision development, writing policy and procedures and/or administrative oversight, the Leadership Council may be the best fit.
• If they are attracted to one-on-one discipleship, personal encouragement, conflict resolution, and/or mentoring, the Shepherding Team may be the best fit.
• If they are attracted to issues around stewarding church finances, property, and helping TCBC members grow in biblical stewardship and generosity, the Stewardship Team may be the best fit.

You may also email the church office (office@tcbc.cc) or a Nominating Committee member with questions or suggested nominees. This year’s Nominating Committee is Maggie Courtright (co-chair), Terry Thies (co-chair), Lee Ann Galaway, Lori VanWingerden, Neelan Coleman, and Bryan Scott.

*Per TCBC’s Constitution, nominees are appointed to their leadership teams via the following processes: Leadership Council candidates are approved by congregational vote (V.2.I), Shepherding Team candidates are approved by Leadership Council vote (V.3.I), and candidates for the Stewardship Team must be recommended by current members of the Stewardship Team, the Leadership Council, or the Shepherding Team and then approved by the Leadership Council.
