Thank you for the many prayers during Ellie's med change. She is fully on her new anticonvulsant and done with the four meds she was taking. We are grateful that she is only on one medicine right now! During the transition, she had one tiny seizure that lasted less than a minute and did not require rescue medicine. We continue to pray that this new medicine will decrease seizure activity. The new medicine has made it a bit difficult for Ellie to fall asleep at night, so we pray this side effect will subside in the next several weeks. Ellie has her first blood drawl this Wednesday, June 29. She will have bloodwork once a week for the next four weeks. We pray that her body (specifically her liver and kidney) is handling the new medicine fine with no complications. Thanks again for the prayers!

Please pray for the comfort for our neighbors sorrow and mourning, the Popescu family. The father (Gabi) was killed tragically in a motorcycle accident late last week and leaves behind two teenage children and wife. He was also a professor at Illinois.

We are so grateful to be with family in Maine, in particular my sister Katy and her family. May God continue to bless this time and bring memories that we can share later with one another after Katy passes. Thanks for your prayers! She is slowing down physically, but still laughs and jokes, and is grateful to God for everything despite her invasive brain cancer!

Please pray for Thailand.
From June 9. 2022 (in Thailand time), people in Thailand can grow cannabis plants at home and sell the crop after the nation removed marijuana from its banned narcotics list. And the government released around 3,000 inmates who had been convicted of cannabis or hemp-related charges.
We lift up Thailand in your hand.
According to JESUS's last prayer on this world in "John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth",
please Sanctify the people of Thailand in the Truth!
GOD.. please listen your only begotten Son's prayer in "John 17:11b Holy Father, keep them in Your name, which You have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one." Please our Holy Father! keep the people of Thailand in Your name, Who have given to JESUS CHRIST, that they become one in JESUS, even as we are one.
Please protect Your missionaries and their families in Thailand.
As you promised in Deuteronomy 32:10, please find them in a desert land, and in the howling waste of the wilderness; please encircle them and care for them. And keep them as the apple of Your eyes.
Please listen and accomplish our prayer for Your Kingdom and Your Will.
I will keep praying and trusting You with Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
Pray in the beautiful and mighty name of JESUS CHRIST,

Tomorrow, May 31, our daughter Ellie will start a new medicine to hopefully control her seizures better. She's been averaging about one longer seizure a month for the past several months. The weaning process will take about three weeks. She will wean on this new med and wean off the four meds she is currently on. The new medicine comes with some risk factors, so at the end of June we will do weekly bloodwork for four weeks to make sure her body is handling the new medicine okay. We are asking for prayers that her body will handle the transition well and that the new medicine will help to decrease her seizures.

God, captivate Tanaijah's heart (my coworker) with Your presence and
love. She is searching for You and expressing a desire to be baptized.
She doesn't know much about You, but she's craving and seeking
something greater than what she's currently living. Thank you Spirit
for laying questions on her heart. Being in this vulnerable place, I
pray against Satan's schemes as he will try to attack her. May she
learn of God's love, grace, and mercy and be receptive to the gospel
message. Help me to love her and meet her where she is. I boldly ask
You to give me Your words of truth and confidence to speak to her. In
the powerful, all-consuming name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

First, a praise. I have been granted the capability to work remotely instead of moving to Salem, Oregon where my employment with Corban University (a Christian higher-ed school) is located.
Then the prayer request. Since I am not tied down to a location anymore, I am planning to move back to the Champaign-Urbana area. I already have a realtor and a mortgage lender. Please pray that God will lead me to where He wants me to live and pray that the pre-approval for mortgage lending goes through smoothly.

It has been such a long time that we have been asking you to pray the same thing for our granddaughter, Emmie. Since we have asked many of you to pray and fast, we have seen God's hand move in ways we have not seen in 3 years. We are excited to ask you to continue to pray and fast for God to heal her of this devastating disease, SJIA and to restore to her a normal lifestyle of a 7 year old girl. For the second week in a row we have seen glimpses of God's healing. We ask you to continue to pray for Emmie's body to respond positively to this new medication that was started 12 days ago. As of today, she is now completely off of all weekly infusions and her heart rate is improving. In fact, the Children's Hospital in Iowa City had a party for her today celebrating this positive turn. Thank you for your continued prayers for Emmie and her family. Perhaps God has completely healed her and we just don't know it yet! That is our fervent prayer.
