Volunteer Positions
Greeting Team
Welcome people at the door, direct newcomers to the Welcome Center, and answer basic questions like “What do I do with our children?” or “Where is the rest room?”
1-2x/month (1 hr.)
Welcome Center Team
Offer an additional greeting to newcomers, give them a welcome gift, and offer information and literature about our church and its programs.
1-2x/month (1 hr.)
Coffee Team
Prepare coffee and other hot beverages, help people serve themselves, and clean up when church is over.
1-2x/month (1.5 hr.)
Ushering Team
Direct people to available seats, encourage folk to move to the center when seating is tight, and pass offering plates and communion trays.
1-2x/month (1 hr.)
Media/Sound Team Member
Support our experience of worship through our multimedia system: video, sound, ProPresenter and Zoom
1-2x/month (2-4 hrs.)
Band & Vocals
Worship the Lord and serve the congregation through music. If you play an instrument of any kind, desire to sing, or a combination, this ministry is the right place to be.
1-2x/month (4-6 hrs.)
Missions Team Member
Support and care for TCBC’s global missionaries and campus ministers. Foster our understanding of and engagement with God’s mission to all nations.
2x/month (2 hrs.)
Social Events Team
Help in the kitchen and the fellowship hall for all-church meals.
As Needed
Infants & Toddlers
Hold & care for infants, or play with active toddlers-preschoolers, on Sunday mornings.
1-2x/month (1.5 hrs)
K-5th
Nurture the spiritual lives of the next generation. Come teach, play, and connect with kids ages K-5th grade.
1-2x/month (1.5 hrs)
Youth Group Leader
Disciple middle/high schoolers toward a vibrant & life-long love for Christ.
2-4x/month (3 hrs.)
Sunday School Teacher
Join a team of teachers teaching either middle or high school students God’s word.
1-2x/month (1 hr.)
