The Only Solution Big Enough

Reflection Questions: 1. Where do I most see my need for Christ to overcome my selfishness and rebellion against God? 2. What would it look like for me to submit to Christ’s work of fixing my sin problem that I can fix? 3. Where can I see the forgiving and transforming work of Christ in my life or the life of someone I know? What is that observation teaching me?

Scripture References: 1 John 2:1-6

From Series: "The Work of Christ"

As Christians we often consider Christ’s work to be a thing of the past (i.e. his perfect work on the cross), but we less often recognize his present work in the life of the church. His past work is the grounds for his present activity, and we cannot live without both. In the First Epistle of John, the Apostle shows us the present work of Christ in our lives, and its implications for our inward and outward living. This series will focus on the transforming power of Christ’s present work in and among us.
