Update and Prayer Request for Emmie Sederquist

Your prayers are effective!

Over the summer we have been watching our granddaughter Emmie's blood test numbers get better and better. As of last week, most are in the normal range, the few that are not, are only slightly elevated, certainly not "off the wall" as they have been in the last six years. Her physical examination joint inflammation is mostly not existent. Please pray that these miraculous trends continue.

We believe that God has healed Emmie and our prayers are that He would reveal the reality of that healing each month. He is answering that prayer.

Please continue to pray that God would fully reveal His healing by:

1. Successful reduction of her remaining steroids. So far, they have been reduced by 50%. Only being steroid free will indicate healing.

2. Elimination of the SJIA (Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis) drug she is taking. We really need wisdom here because the medical community is going to suggest that it is the SJIA drug that is providing the results she is experiencing. Only the successful elimination would prove healing.

3. Physical growth. Emmie has not grown for 4 years because of the steroids. She is currently 8 years old. With the 50% reduction, she has recently shown miniscule growth; which is better than negative growth she had been experiencing due to spinal fractures from long term steroid use. Please pray that her physical growth will continue.

4. Pray that our entire family would walk faithfully into the miracle that God has provided.
