Behind the Movement

Scripture References: Acts 1:1-11

From Series: "Movement of Renewal"

Christianity in the first century wasn't just a belief, it was a movement. In fact, that’s true today around the world, and it’s been that way for two millennia. What are some of the core aspects of the church as a movement? What does it mean to live missionally? How does the Gospel inform all of this? When we look at the book of Acts, we see that many examples abound for why the gospel spread from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth by the end of Acts. The message itself and the power of the Holy Spirit are key elements to the church as a movement. How do we as a church participate in the Lord’s Gospel Movement in C-U and beyond?
