Marriage is a huge decision. Should I get married? Whom should I marry? Is the person I’m dating the right person for me? And if we’re going to talk about marriage, how do we have that conversation well?
Even the best relationship can benefit from outside help on these big questions! If you’re in a dating relationship and starting to ask these questions—or wanting to ask them—then Should We Tie the Knot? is for you. Think of it as a one-day pre-premarital counseling intensive!
You’re invited to join Pastor Steve and Amy Jaeger (who themselves went through, and REALLY benefited from, pre-engagement counseling!) to invest in your relationship and get started asking the questions you should be asking. Spend a day with other couples (and also some time by yourselves!) delving into:
- some biblical guidelines for serious daters;
- questions you should be asking;
- Q&A in men’s and women’s groups
Lunch will be provided (sadly, not fancy or candlelit, but still good), and you’ll leave equipped with next steps to help you continue the conversation.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, Feb. 18, 9:00-2:00! Register here (www.tcbc.cc/tietheknot) for $10 per person (all materials and lunch included). Questions? Contact Pastor Steve at email@example.com. Registration deadline is Wednesday, February 15.
