If you could change something about yourself, what would you choose? Seriously, what would you choose?

Maybe you want to transform that nagging weakness into a strength…maybe you want to take a strength and crank it up a notch or two!

Then again, maybe wondering what we would change about ourselves is too superficial of a question.

Maybe the deeper question is something like, “How can I become the person I was created to be?”

This Fall, TCBC is going to learn from some people in scripture and see what kind of transformations they experienced as God brought meaning and depth into their lives.

Scripture has a couple of phrases for those deeper kinds of change to be made:

  • The Apostle Paul encourages us in Romans 12:2 "...to keep being transformed...".

  • Jesus as well, tells us that at the end of this world, "Behold, I am making everything new." (Revelation 21:5).

God places a call to be made new on the lives of people - back then and now. And answering this call is the step of faith that gives us an eternal sense of belonging and purpose.

“Faith does not make life easier, faith makes us stronger”

This kind of life is not so much about getting rich, but rather enriching others…This kind of life is not about being in control, but empowering others…

This kind of life is not so much about being unafraid, but about creating peace.

Join us as we learn from the faith journeys of:

Jonah - to embrace the Call to Mercy

Abraham - to answer the Call to Trust

James - to heed the Call to Love and Holiness

Jesus - accept the Call to Hope.
