Youth Ministry

TCBC Library

You can be one of the first to see the new books, meet the avid readers of TCBC and help people find the resources which will help them grow in their faith when you serve as a volunteer in the TCBC library. Volunteers help staff the library before, between and after services on Sunday mornings. Jason Wood, the Library Team Leader, would love to meet you and help you get started as a TCBC library volunteer. Stop by the library which is located in the northwest corner off the fellowship hall and kitchen area to meet Jason and to find your next great “read” or contact Kay Miller, Minister of Christian Education.

Adult Choir

We are seeing some new faces in choir, and we talk to those who would like to sing but just haven't taken the "big step". Join us now, as we have already begun work on our Christmas Concert of Worship and Praise, and we would love to add your musical gifts and your love of singing to our choir family! Contact Janet Watkins or just show up at choir on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. We love having college students AND community people!

Orchestra Musicians for Christmas

Rehearsals have been scheduled for the orchestra musicians who will be playing for the Dec. 2 Choir and Orchestra Christmas Concert of Worship and Praise. If you have not been contacted but are interested in playing in the orchestra, contact Janet Watkins this week!

Choir Reception Organizers Needed

Would you be willing to organize/assist/or provide cookies/desserts for the receptions after the Dec and May choir programs? We would like to put together a list of those willing to do any or all of those.

Child Care During Choir Events

When we have our special choir programs, often young parents are unable to attend because there is no child care. We would like to have a list of all those who would be available and willing to watch children for these two events.

“Helping” Ministry Opportunity

Periodically there are members of our church family who need very practical assistance: someone to take them to a doctor’s appointment or run to the grocery store for them or do some minor home maintenance, etc. They would greatly benefit from having a team of other TCBCers who could help meet these needs. If you would enjoy participating in a ministry like this, please contact the church office. We are creating a list of people for this “helping” ministry. By putting your name on the list, you are not yet committing to a specific task. You are just indicating you’re willing to be contacted as needs arise to see if you’re available.
